A new virus was recently discovered by Yugo Labs Inc, and has been termed AOL.IRC.Backdoor.Qbasic.SNAX@MM.Gen.Worm. It is written in compiled QBasic and comes in several incarnations. It's payload is to determine what kind of porn you have on your drive and replace it with material you will find offensive. The four variants currently in the wild are
- AOL.IRC.Backdoor.Qbasic.SNAX@MM.Gen.Worm.AA
- This variant replaces all straight porn files with gay porn and vice versa.
- AOL.IRC.Backdoor.Qbasic.SNAX@MM.Gen.Worm.ZZ
- This variant replaces all furry porn files with pictures of Cisco routing equipment.
- AOL.IRC.Backdoor.Qbasic.SNAX@MM.Gen.Worm.Wat
- This variant replaces all pictures of your mother with ones of cakedrink's mother.
- AOL.IRC.Backdoor.DDoS.W97M.Qbasic.SNAX@MM.Gen.Worm.NO_U
- This variant sets fire to your computer remotely.
