I have noticed something. Old jazz, pop, rock music, I am saying back to like the 30's 40's before the doors, etc.. With a scene involving impending WAT! (replace WAT with doom) A doughnut shop robbery with the black guy without a gun on top (boogie nights).. Well anyway, I'd love to have that job putting music to movies, visuals. The auditory sensations involved in a sort of music induced mind trip. While you're sober no less. The fine selection in requiem for a dream was wonderful as well. Made especially for the movie, sometimes music made for it goes better. Other times a classic song made for people passing the bong goes better (such as in fear and loathing) or perhaps in blow with the rolling stone's cocaine eyes. Fucking bliss. I bet a job like that allows for frequent reality improving mind enhancing substances. |
