Have you ever heard someone make a generalised statement such as "I don't like liars". Most people play devil's advocate and respond with some convoluted "debate" regarding white lies.
I would suggest a better counter argument regarding CVs... do you really like to work in a team? Have good organisation skills? believe you could make a positive difference to the company? Guess what dishonesty is an integrated part of human infrastructure. To succeed to any degree at some point you must practice what is commonly known as immorality therfore making most sententious rambles about lying hypocritical. The world, or more accurately it's peoples, as it is unfortunately is so contradictory - but then again I suppose confusion is a great platform for subservience.
